About Us

MISSION STATEMENT

Provide a dependable childcare service, focused on each child individually to provide a nurturing, fun, and safe environment; while placing value on the human spirit and the development of the whole child: physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.

  • We develop order, coordination, concentration, and independence, while allowing our little students to explore and have fun. Our goal is to have children trust in their own abilities to work through curriculum, knowing that we are right next to them, step by step. Exploring the world together with our students

  • We want our children to test themselves, be creative and social, all while training their gross and fine motor skills. A big part of our everyday learning environment is routine outdoor time for all age groups. At Little Beans Playhouse we know that nature helps all children to train their senses, explore and have fun, all at the same time.

  • We place high value on early literacy skills, supported by daily story time, with read & comprehend learning steps, retelling stories, and expressing individual thoughts on topics through drawing.

  • Another large part of our school week is a mixed music program. We like to encourage our students to try out different musical instruments and gain confidence in performing amongst friends.

  • We created a safe learning environment in our infant & toddler rooms, equipped with comfortable nap mats and cribs, engaging sensory materials and more. Our changing station is conveniently connected to the classroom, always providing our Little Ones with great supervision. All Teachers at Little Beans Playhouse are Infant & Child First Aid & CPR certified.

  • Our trained staff cares for our children with passion, paying attention to every student’s individual needs and teaching a curriculum we strongly support and develop along with the guidelines of Laramie County School District #1, strongly supporting Kindergarten Readiness.

Meet Our Staff

Jen Parker

Owner & Director

My name is Jen, and I am the Owner & Director of Little Beans Playhouse. After growing up in Germany and moving a few times with the Air Force, I am absolutely thrilled to call Cheyenne, WY my forever home. I love the outdoors and enjoy long walks, hiking and camping with my wonderful children & dogs. Working in the field of Education has always been my dream, and I've been at Little Beans Playhouse since Day 1. I graduated from LCCC in May 2020 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy reading with the Little Ones, as well as playing board games, singing, pretend play and any outdoor activities. Getting our students ready for Kindergarten and creating a happy, nurturing learning environment for them is very important to me. I couldn’t be more excited to work with your child at Little Beans Playhouse and can’t wait to get to know you & your children and to discover the world with them!
